Term Protection

The premium performance of your Audi requires many precision-mechanical parts, such as brake pads, engine belts, and windshield wiper blades, that need to be replaced when they wear down. Non-moving parts, such as your battery, may need to be replaced as well.

Every day wear is where Audi Pure Protection Term Protection comes into play. This optional service plan, offering comprehensive coverage for parts and labor for components¹ that commonly wear out, for up to six (6) years or 72,000 miles²,² with no deductible, provides you with the peace of mind you deserve.

Term Protection benefits:

Covered components and services:⁠³

• Brake pads: Includes one replacement set for both the front and rear pads.
• Battery: Includes coverage for one replacement battery.
• Belts and hoses³: Provides coverage for replacing the majority of essential engine belts and hoses.
• Windshield wiper blades: Includes coverage for a single set of wiper blade replacements.
• Wheel alignment: Includes coverage for a single wheel alignment.
• Diagnostics and fluid replacement: Included in conjunction with all covered services.
• Headlamps: Covers the replacement of headlamps.
• Bulbs and fuses: Covers fuses and interior or exterior light bulbs.

Term Protection Plus benefits:

Term Protection Plus provides all the benefits of Term Protection, with added mechanical breakdown coverage for every mechanical and electrical part not listed in the Customer Agreement’s Exclusions section.

Optional Brake Rotor coverage⁴ adds:

• Includes coverage for:
  • One (1) replacement set of front and rear brake rotors.
  • Or, if the vehicle has carbon or ceramic brake rotors, it covers up to $1,000 toward the replacement of one (1) set of front or rear carbon or ceramic brake rotors.
    

Additional benefits:

• No deductible.
• Rental car reimbursement of up to $35 per day for as many as 10 days when needed due to a covered mechanical breakdown.
• Trip interruption coverage up to $200 per day for up to five (5) days if necessary due to a covered mechanical breakdown.⁵

Term Protection is not just for you, it's for the future owner of your Audi. It's transferable to another private party for a fee if your finance agreement is assumed⁶, giving you and the next owner the same peace of mind.

Coverage exclusions may apply:⁠⁶

• Your vehicle's manufacturer's warranty covers mechanical breakdowns.
• Mechanical breakdowns caused by accident, collision, vandalism, or weather-related conditions.
• Mechanical breakdowns resulting from inadequate maintenance or pre-existing issues.
• Carbon or ceramic brake pads.
• Carbon or ceramic brake rotors.
• Hybrid or electric high-voltage vehicle batteries.
  

¹Available on vehicles within the first 24 months or 24,000 miles of the start date or mileage following activation of the New Vehicle Manufacturer's Limited Warranty.

²Term Protection coverage operates alongside any applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Term Protection coverage expiration is measured in time/miles from the Agreement Purchase Date and the Current Odometer Reading. Term Protection coverage expires when the number of months or miles listed for the term is reached, whichever occurs first.
